  • M.A., Bioethics, Trinity International University, 2014

After graduating from Trinity International in 2014, Sweatman worked for a year at TIU before transitioning with his wife to Maranatha. Sweatman was hired in the summer of 2015 and instantly had an impact on the Sabercat athletes.

Sweatman is an athlete himself, and played for the Men's Basketball Team at TIU, where he was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete during his senior year.

Why MBU?

"I work at Maranatha because I wanted to work at a Christian College and be close to family. The love of Christ compels me. I chose Athletic Training as a profession to build Christ-centered relationships with college athletes and help them through injuries, and because I enjoy the complexity and mystery of the human body. "

Outside the Office...

"My wife and I live in Watertown. I read a lot. I have two dogs. I used to be able to jump pretty high. I'm probably the most easily identifiable person on campus (tall, shaved head, beard)."
