After graduating from Maranatha in 2015, Taylor Pill began work as Sports Information Director one month later. During his undergraduate studies, Pill worked part-time as a Site Administrator for US Soccer Coaching Schools, and assisted the administrative staff at US Soccer headquarters in Chicago. Pill has also served on the board of directors for Watertown Soccer Club, and served the role of Referee Coordinator for three years at the club.
Since beginning work as SID, Pill has overseen a new social media graphic design initiative, the implementing of new social media pages for the athletic teams, and the design, upkeep, and transition of the Maranatha Athletics website as it became mbusabercats.com.
As SID, Pill supports and promotes the 10 intercollegiate athletics teams through the updating of the athletics website and athletics social media, handles statistical reporting to the NCCAA and NCAA, oversees the statistical upkeep and archiving for all Sabercat teams, acts as the head events manager, coordinates the live streaming of athletic contests, and assists the Athletics Department's operations as needed.
"I work at MBU because it is an organization that supports biblical principles while providing opportunities for students to prepare themselves for life past college. Working with and around biblical Christians is a unifying thing."
"I enjoy playing soccer, golf, and (when I am around mountains) skiing. Die hard fan of FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, and the Boston Red Sox."
