Third Shuffle

Third Shuffle

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The field for the 2020 NCCAA DII Women's Volleyball National Tournament has been adjusted yet again, and the Sabercats will compete in a three-team round-robin pool with Randall and Pensacola Christian to open the 2020 tournament.

Johnson University Tennessee, the new #5 seed, has withdrawn from the tournament, and at this stage of the game, no one will take their place.

This is a gift for the participants in Pool A, as two of the three teams will advance to the national semifinals.

The tournament holds two pools that play a round-robin format, and the top two teams from each pool will advance to the national semifinals.

The winners of each pool will face the runner-up of the other pool for the national semifinals and a chance to advance to the National Championship.

The seedings are determined based on the new NCCAA Power Rating System, which ranks teams based on win/loss record and strength of schedule. The Sabercats have earned the #1 seed after going 16-3 during the regular season, 18-3 overall, and a perfect 18-0 in NCCAA competition in 2020.
