Here's a brief overview of the field:

Team Location                    Record   '19 Finish  Power Rating
#1 Maranatha     Watertown, Wis. 16-3 Champion   #1 / 4.882
#2 Faith Ankeny, Iowa 11-8 DNP #8 / 2.441

#5 Trinity Bible     Ellendale, N.D. 3-8 1st Round #18 / -0.591

#1 Maranatha - The Sabercats are undefeated in North Region and overall NCCAA play in the 2020 season, and they are looking to keep it that way. In fact, the Sabercats have steamrolled through 11 North Region matches this season without dropping a single set. The Sabercats have held the #1 ranking in the NCCAA DII for the first two national power ratings, and they are looking to reinforce the idea that they are the top team in the country.

#2 Faith - The Eagles have proven their ability to battle, as they have taken the Sabercats down to the wire in numerous sets this season. As the hosts, they will have the added boosts that come with playing at home, and they'll definitely be targeting the upset.

#3 Calvary - The Warriors took Faith to five sets the last time they played, and with Moody, Providence, and Emmaus not participating in this year's tournament, the Warriors will look to cash in on their opportunity to compete for the regional title.

#4 Oak Hills - The Wolfpack have taken wins off of Spurgeon College and Trinity Bible this season, and they will make the return trip to the North Region Tournament by opening play against Trinity Bible in the first round.

#5 Trinity Bible - The Lions have faced everyone in the region except for Calvary this season. The Lions' #5 seeding comes as a surprise after they took down Faith 3-2 in the regular season and won the series with Oak Hills, 2-1.
