Women's Hoops Stays Inside Top 10 for January

WATERTOWN, Wis. --- The Sabercats Women's Basketball team have remained inside the Top 10 rankings of Division II for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) for each rankings week in the month of January, as the final weekly rankings were released this afternoon.

The #7 Sabercats (7-8) have ranked between seventh and ninth for the month, and have ranked as high as fifth during the early stages of the season.

Hanna Glaze and Alexis Johnson are currently the main offensive threats for the Sabercats, as they both average 13.2 points per game.

The Sabercats are the lone representatives of the North Region to crack the Top 10, as they have beaten regional opponents Faith Baptist (Iowa) on two occasions. The Sabercats have six more games in NCCAA competition before they host the North Regional Tournament in late February.

Next up are the Trojans of Trinity International University (NCCAA DI, NAIA). That game will be played tomorrow night in Deerfield, Ill.
